Kylie Grimes MBE recently visited Highfield as part of the Great Athletes campaign.

Kylie put the school through a high-intensity interval training workout and the gave a talk on how she became an athlete and her journey to winning Paralympic gold.

The children were excited to see the gold medal she won at the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo part of the mixed-event wheelchair rugby. She became the first-ever woman in the sport to receive a gold medal.

The school raised £4399.53 from the session which will go towards sports equipment.
