Mr Neighbours Trip to Parliament

A group of our Year 5 and 6 pupils had an incredible opportunity after writing persuasive letters to the headteacher requesting a chance to take part in a visit to Parliament. The children travelled to the House of Commons where they met with our local MP, Greg Stafford, and even had the chance to interview him about his role and work in Parliament. We were incredibly proud of how confidently and thoughtfully the pupils represented our school. So many children wrote outstanding letters that we will be taking a second group to Parliament later in the year – another fantastic example of how powerful pupil voice and great writing can be!
