Wrap Around Care

Extended Hours Childcare Facility

We are delighted to offer parents and carers high quality wrap around care for children attending Highfield South Farnham School. The children will be looked after by our After School Club team made up of teaching assistants led by Mrs Piner generating an atmosphere of care and respect within a safe and secure environment.

Highfield South Farnham School offers Breakfast and After School Childcare for all children attending school & Nursery

 Breakfast Childcare:  7.45am – 09:00am

Please deliver your child to the DT area (via the green gate to the left of the school). The children will be provided with breakfast at 08.40 the children will be taken to their classroom. All Nursery children will be supervised until their session starts at 09.00am.

After School Care: 3.15pm – 6.00pm

The After School Care Facility is for children who attend school at Highfield. The children are provided with a drink, fruit and snack and are given a broad range of activities which will include, arts and crafts, dance, cookery, film night and outdoor activities. There is the opportunity for children to work on their homework and read. 

Charges from September 2025 will be at the following rates:

  • Breakfast Club: 7.45am – 8.40am £7.50 (including breakfast)
  • After School Short Session: 3.15pm - 4.30pm £7.00
  • After School Long Session: 3.15pm – 6.00pm £15.00
  • Late pick up (after 6pm) - £15.00 per child for the first 15 minutes and £5 for every five minutes thereafter. 

Bookings & Payments

All bookings are made and paid for via MCAS under wraparound care. Parents can make and amend bookings up until 48 working hours before the club is needed. 

The school will not be able to accommodate your request if the sessions are not booked and paid for in advance as the facility is staffed according to pre-booked numbers. 

We regret that the school office can not bokk these sessions for you.

Paying for Wrap Around Care for with Government Tax Vouchers or by Childcare Vouchers from your employer?

  • Register us as school within your account.
  • Allocate how much to send to Highfield. 
  • Please ensure you enter your child’s name as the reference when making payments to us.
  • Send an email to admin.highfield@sfet.org.uk entitled “Child Care Voucher allocation” specifying how much money you would like allocated to which activity, along with a screen shot of the allocation made.
